Laura started her Real Estate career with LJ Hooker 8 years ago in March 2012. Within those years she worked her way through the company from a reception role, into a leasing role and then became a Property Manager assistant at the end of 2012. This allowed her to gain a wide-range of knowledge within the industry before the opportunity arose in 2013 to step into a Property Manager position, managing a portfolio of 130 properties.
Shortly after this Laura qualified for membership into the LJ Hooker elite Captain’s Club, ranking her in the top 7% of Property Managers within LJ Hooker's international network. To qualify for the Captain’s Club, property managers are required to meet certain standards, KPIs, annual training levels and certification. With hard work, determination and positive feedback from her clients Laura’s portfolio grew to over 170 properties.
Laura also spent 1 year with the Department of Mines, Industry Regulations & Safety (Consumer Protection) in a Conciliation Officers position dealing with disputes between landlords/agencies and their tenants. This allowed her to gain further knowledge of the Residential Tenancies legislation.
Laura has a great work ethic, attention to detail and is a team player.
“From starting in a reception role and working my way through to a Property Managers position. I believe this gave me great knowledge and an understanding of how property management works from start to finish. I believe that communication, attention to detail and a supportive work environment (which I am lucky enough to have) are key to being successful in this industry”
